BREAKING NEWS: ESDA’S BACK
We’re so happy to confirm we’ll be back running ESDA classes at Montpelier School in September. The Zoom classes proved very popular, but as we all know, you can’t beat face-to-face lessons.
SECURING YOUR CHILD’S PLACE
We return with a bang on Saturday 12 September, with the final class of the term on Saturday 12 December.
Classes start and finish at the usual time – you can check the timetable here.
We’ll be getting straight down to work on our rescheduled show, which will be in March 2021 (assuming we can gather in larger groups by then). We’ll also start work on routines for our street and breakdance exams, scheduled for early December.
- The cost of the 12-week Autumn term is £99 per child.
- As always, there’s a 20% discount for an additional sibling.
- For our Junior and Senior Crew dancers, the fee is £180 total for both classes.
Please make payment by 15 August to secure your child’s place. If we don’t receive payment by this date, places will be offered to children on the waiting list.
I appreciate that for many people the last few months have been tough, so if you want to secure your child’s place but you’re having financial difficulties, please get in touch and we can work out a plan together.
If your child had a birthday since lockdown, or you’re unsure which class they should be in, please email me or send a private WhatsApp message, letting me know your child’s age and which school year they’re going into in September.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU RETURN
As you’d expect, we’ll be following the social distancing and hygiene guidelines. This will probably mean some adjustments to the drop-offs and pick-ups. For the classes themselves, the school is plenty big enough for kids to be spaced the required distance apart.
We’re currently working out the finer details, and will send an update email in August so you all know exactly what to expect.
Or course, we’ll do everything possible to keep everyone safe – and we’ll be doing all we can to make the ESDA experience as enjoyable as ever.
What we can guarantee right now is a ma-HOO-sive welcome back!
ONE MORE THING…
just want to thank you all for your unwavering support over the last few months. I know it’s been really tough for everyone, so to receive such encouraging messages from people who are weathering their own personal storm has meant more than you know.
I appreciate Zoom classes aren’t quite the same, but hopefully they provided some continuity, and allowed the kids to continue their development and keep in touch with their teachers.
A huge big-up to the kids, parents, and of course the teachers, who kept the ESDA fire burning.
Can’t wait to see you all in September!
A whole lotta love,
Ruth x
