Chris Aguilar

Student Teacher & Choreographer
For the past three years, Christopher has been a resident Street Dance teacher at Dance Attic, one of the most esteemed dance studios in London. He is now the most recent teacher to join ESDA.

With 15 years of experience in the industry teaching adults, teens and children, Chris has developed a keen eye for detail and the nuances of rhythm in movement which has become fundamental to his own dance freestyle and choreography.

As far back as he can remember, Chris has always invested in his love and passion for the art of dance, developing noticeable skills in Popping, Locking, Hip-Hop and most recently Tutting and Krump.

Before dedicating his time to being an active father to three girls, he taught and performed in Indonesia and developed a dance school in Kefalonia, Greece whilst simultaneously working on various film projects in those locations.

At this point in his life, Chris’ favourite thing is to witness his students grow in enthusiasm and confidence in their dance development.

With a lifestyle that revolves around his family, getting substantial time to practice can be a mission these days so don’t be surprised if you are in mid-conversation with Chris and you suddenly see his arms waving and his fingers tutting. He’s known to grab some practice time wherever and whenever he can.
