Following the government’s announcement that schools are to close tomorrow, we won’t be running ESDA at Montpelier school as normal on Saturday.
As you’d expect, it’s not a decision we wanted to make – but of course, the most important thing is that your children are kept safe.
In terms of when we will return to Montpelier school for classes, we’ll continue to follow the government’s advice – realistically we expect this means re-opening when the schools re-open.
So, that our ESDA dancers do not miss out on their dance training and show rehearsals, for the remaining two classes of term, myself, Zara, Darrick, Eliza and Ash will be filming ourselves teaching each of our dance classes and will be sending these to you via WhatsApp. This way the kids can still have their regular dance class, albeit in a virtual format.
Before I sign off, I just want to wish you and your families all the very best in the coming months. These are unsettling times for everyone – we can’t wait to welcome the ESDA family back and give you all some much-needed normality.
With tonnes of love,
