Zara Richards
Teacher & ChoreographerShe attended North Herts College and achieved her diploma in dance which helped get her the first of many professional dance jobs, at 16, on TV with Louis Spence.
As well as professionally dancing in the UK and internationally and teaching at ESDA, Zara owns her own successful dance studio, Warriorz Performing Arts Academy, where she trains her dancers for a profession in the industry.
Zara specialises in tap; lyrical; hip hop; locking; waving; commercial house and whaacking.
She has a hunger to never stop learning and evolving, and she travels regularly to the USA to train with different choreographers and artists. She judges at competitions nationally and internationally and owns Hip Hop Unite UK which holds regular national street dance competitions up and down the country.
Zara’s experience in the industry is vast and her influence on emerging hip hop talent is immeasurable. She is an inspiring mentor to hundreds of young dancers and is a force to be reckoned with, within the industry:
